Challenges
The company had detailed travel SOPs. What they lacked was a format that employees would actually absorb, remember, and act on – across diverse roles, locations, and languages.
- Dense SOP documents felt procedural and impersonal – easy to ignore, hard to remember.
- Employees received the information but weren’t internalising it – awareness without behaviour change.

Standard instructional safety videos weren’t going to cut it. The message needed to feel personal, not procedural. This is how we devised a customised animated story-led SOP video for safe business travel:

2. Storytelling & Scenario Design
Dreamfoot developed a narrative-driven animated video built around a simple, relatable scene – a husband and wife having a conversation before a business trip. Instead of a lecture, viewers saw a real-life dialogue: she asks if he’s ready; he explains he’s completing a travel risk assessment and waiting for supervisor sign-off. This conversational storytelling format made employees feel seen, not trained at. And made the videos more engaging.
3. Multilingual Adaptation
To maximise reach and relatability across a multilingual workforce, the video was produced in three languages – English, Hindi, and Kannada – ensuring the message landed with the same clarity regardless of where employees were based.
The Results
The multilingual animated safety induction video was rolled out across the organisation in English, Hindi, and Kannada – reaching field employees, corporate staff, and business travellers across diverse locations and roles. Internal reception was overwhelmingly positive, and leadership reported measurable improvement in travel safety adherence following the rollout.
Beyond the initial launch, the video continues to serve as a core onboarding and refresher training asset – embedded in the business travel compliance programme and reusable across multiple business units without modification.
