How we helped Linde Engineering strengthen its position as a supplier of critical refinery equipment.

Overview

Linde Engineering India wanted to document the engineering process of their POX Reactors. The goal was to showcase Linde’s engineering capabilities by showing how they executed a technically complex project—engineering and supplying POX reactors for the world’s largest petrochemical complex. They also wanted to exhibit how they collaborated with different stakeholders to successfully deliver one of their largest projects.

OUR STRATEGY

To display LEI’s competence, we wanted to cover how they solved the challenges of executing a critical technology project. It was necessary to video record every stage from design to delivery. This meant that the filming would be spread across many months and different locations. We then suggested a collaboration with the engineering team. We needed their input to create 3D animation to explain the technical aspects. And their interview bites would give insights into the complexities of building and transporting the reactors.

The Results

With Linde being a global Oil and Gas EPC company, we remained mindful of their guidelines for videos. We created a video that seamlessly blended the voice over, process shots, interviews, and 3D animation. The video was a perfect demonstration of Linde’s engineering excellence and how the company is breaking new ground every day. We designed it to communicate the technicalities of the entire project without boring the audience with industry jargon.

The Impact

The video received appreciation from the stakeholders in both the engineering and management departments. It serves as a testament to their expertise. This video is a success story case study that LEI can use to prove their capabilities while pitching for challenging projects of similar nature.
